An easy solution to differentiate between multiple instances of Sonarr, Radarr, Lidarr… all the ARRSS
If you run multiple instances of any of the *ARR applications, I’m sure you’ve wished for a way to easily identify which is which. Many for instance, have a Radarr install for 1080p media and another for 2160p/4K media. There isn’t an easy way to identify the different instances if you’re looking at multiple tabs in your browser.

Which Radarr is my 1080p and which is my 4k?? First world problems right? Ok, let’s make this easier.
Browse to your Radarr installation for your 4K media, and down to the bin > UI > Content > Images > Icons folder.

Inside this directory, you’ll see a favicon.ico file. This icon file is what the browser uses to display on the tab.

Use a website or program to edit the favicon.ico file to add something eye-catching (I added a single red line around the edges of the icon).
Do note that the file contains several images of different sizes. You’ll want to edit each one.

Save this file over the existing favicon.ico and refresh your webpage.

It’s MAGICAL! 😀
Although Radarr was used in this example, you can do the same for the other applications built on the same framework.
